Ship Turret re-layout


This week I made several turret and ship layout changes and I wanted to discuss why.

CHANGE:  Laser Turrets Now Deal Double Damage

REASON: Lasers did not feal unique beyond just instant hit and no missing, they needed something to make them feel special and a good reason to have a fleet with some lasers mixed in with non-laser turrets.

CHANGE: Cruiser now has 6 turret hard points, and Battlecruiser now has 6.

REASON: The ships again didn't feel unique, they had higher damage gun variants and a better damage/range multiplier but nothing to make the visibly stronger. The player just had to believe, so now with extra turrets. They look cooler and are way better.

CHANGE: Battleship now has 10 turret hard points instead of 6

REASON: This ship just felt meh... and the price it costs in game was pretty unbalanced for how weak it was. So, now the biggest ship also has the most guns.
